A hero of mine when in my teens, as she was the first "white woman get down to the nitty gritty" Blues player that anyone on the west Coast ever heard. Frank Zappa discovered her, and she is still playing and doing wonderful finger picking and slide guitar, as only she can, in Olympia Washington. Everyone in this part of the country reveres her and thinks of her as our Blues legend, having spanned a 40+ consistent career.
