Blues Brokers
"Let The Good Times Roll"
A Review by Chet Cannon

Running the bank by day, and breaking the bank by night. . . The Blues Brokers are at it again. (not that they ever stopped). . . Starting with their debut recording in 1999 Takin' No Prisoners, and moving into 2000 and the new millennium with a pretty solid follow up record that was titled Put Down The Gun, and included my all time favorite original tune by The Blues Brokers yet: Four Day Weekend.

Well folks, now it's time for the latest and for you to Let The Good Tmes Roll! this party was recorded completely live at one of north county coastals rockin' hot spots The Kraken, by Tim Pinch Recording Company, I hope that you have your dancing shoes on. . . because it sure sounds like there was a party going on!

A few of my favorites include Bad Case Of Love, Honey Hush and Sugar Sweet. This new CD is now available at www.bluesbrokers.com or wherever you will find The Blues Brokers laying it on down for y'all, Now let's get this party started!

Most local folks are familiar fans of the band at this point from either their popular ongoing parties at downtown San Diego's legendary blues stronghold: Patrick's II (located at 428 F Street in the Gaslamp), their long running and ever growing Jam out at The Kraken in Cardiff by The Sea, (760) 436-6483, or any of their many other various and assorted wild party nights out around beautiful San Diegoville.

When Steve "B.B." Payne, Gilbert "Sleepy" Flores, Emo, Dave "Cool Breeze" Coats, and "Jamming" Joe Anderson stroll into the club with instruments in hand you ought to be aware that these fellas are about to kick up some dust. . . and start to rockin' it up Blues Brokers style!

For CD, Current Schedule and or booking information contact Steve Payne by phone (858) 481-6580 or by e-mail: bluesbrokers@aol.com.
