Who can have failed to be moved by his feeling for the blues. The original Boogie Man who never let structure get in the way of putting the Blues across. Every Artist that has backed this musician has been proud and privileged to do so. He was already called a veteran of the Blues in the early fifties and he gave us forty more years.

The Blues Hall of Fame ® is honored to have John Lee Hooker listed as a Master.

We also acknowledge him as a Legend.
